Warranty,
Approvals and Returns Information
WARRANTY Communications Security Corp offers a one (1) year warranty on
its hardware products after the date of shipment. Any merchandise proved defective in material or workmanship during the warranty
period will be repaired or replaced without any charge. Exceptions to this warranty are as noted below: CSC will warrant
all replacement parts and repairs for 90 days from the date of shipment. All goods requiring warranty repair shall be sent
freight prepaid to CSC to the address below. Repairs made necessary by reason of misuse, alteration, normal wear, or accident
are not covered under this warranty. CSC assumes no risk and shall be subject to no liability for damages or loss resulting
from the specific use or application made of the Products. Communications Security Corp’s liability for any claim, whether
based on breach of contract, negligence, infringement of any rights of any party or product liability, relating to the Products
shall not exceed the price paid by the customer to CSC for such Products. In no event will CSC be liable for any special,
incidental or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of profit and claims of third parties) however caused, whether
by negligence of CSC or otherwise. The above warranty provides the customer with specific legal rights. The customer
may also have additional rights, which are subject to variation from state to state. If a warranty repair is required, contact
CSC at customerservice@comseccorp.com or (877) 221-8599 in the USA to obtain a Repair Authorization number (RA) and return
the product to CSC, Inc at the address below.
RETURNS To return a product to CSC, contact customer service
using the above phone number and provide the following information: Model and serial number Date of shipment, P.O.
number, Sales Order number, or CSC invoice number Details of the defect or problem. If there is a dispute regarding
the warranty of a product, which does not fall under the warranty conditions stated above, please include a written explanation
with the product when returned. Method of return shipment shall be the same or equal to the method by which the item was received
by CSC. In order to expedite parts returned to the factory for repair or credit, please contact the factory at customerservice@commseccorp.com
or call (877) 221-8599 in the USA to obtain an authorization number (CA number if returned for credit, and RA number if returned
for repair). All merchandise returned for credit may be subject to a 20% restocking and refurbishing charge. Goods returned
for repair or credit should be clearly identified with the assigned CA or RA number and freight should be prepaid.
FCC Info
FCC PART 68 INFORMATION This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC Rules and the requirements
adopted by ACTA. On the bottom of this equipment is a label that contains, a product identifier in the format US:AAAEQ##TXXXX.
If requested, this information must be provided to your telephone company. A plug and jack use to connect this equipment to
the premises wiring and telephone network must comply with the applicable FCC Part 68 rules and requirements adopted by ACTA.
A compliant telephone cord and modular plug is provided with this product. It is designed to be connected to a compatible
modular jack that is also compliant. See installation instructions for details. The REN is used to determine the number
of devices that may connect to a telephone line. Excessive REN’s on a telephone line may result in the devices not ringing
in response to an incoming call. In most but not all areas, the sum of the REN’s should not exceed five (5.0). To be
certain of the number of devices that may be connected to a line, as determined by the total REN’s, contact your local
telephone company. For product approved after July 23, 2001, the REN for this product is part of the product identifier that
has the format
US:AAAEQ##TXXXX. The digits represented by ## are the REN without the decimal point (e.q., 03 is
a REN of 0.3). For earlier products, the REN is separately shown on the label. If this equipment, JS2003 or JS2004 causes
harm to the telephone network, the telephone company will notify you in advance that temporary discontinuance of service may
be required. But if advance notice isn't practical, the telephone company will notify the customer as soon as possible. Also,
you will be advised of your right to file a complaint with the FCC if you believe it is necessary. The telephone company may
make changes in it's facilities, equipment, operations or procedures that could affect the proper functioning of your equipment.
If they do, you will be notified in advance in order for you to make necessary modifications to maintain uninterrupted service.
DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THIS EQUIPMENT. It does not contain any user serviceable components. INFORMATION SUPPLIED TO THE
USER If trouble is experienced with this unit, for repair or warranty information, please contact customer service at
the phone number listed below. If the equipment is causing harm to the network, the telephone company may request that
you disconnect the equipment until the problem is resolved. We recommend the installation of an AC surge arrester in the AC
outlet to which this equipment is connected. Telephone companies report that electrical surges, typically lighting transients,
are very destructive to customer terminal equipment connected to AC power sources.
